I’m quite fortunate I guess.

I have not been to the dentist since October 2007.  Back then, I went with Stardent who I had read a lot of good things about.  They have awards all over the place and the dentist looks like a nice place rather than somewhere where my teeth would go to die.

And in the 2 yrs and 8 months, my teeth have not troubled me at all. Not surprising since back in 2007 when my last visit was, I was in incredible pain (during the procedure), and I vowed not to have to go through that again.

I still ate a lot of sweets and non-teeth-friendly products, but I brushed and flossed a lot more than I ever did before.

Wise Move idiot.

So my first appointment in a long time was 5th June.  And I enjoyed the day trip to Southampton to make my appointment (my dentist is about 30 miles away).

On my return to the dentist, she could confirm that there had been no decline in my teeths condition, and effectively, she should finish off what she started over 2 yrs ago.

The injection was pain free (the reason I go 30 miles to the dentist), and 3 fillings later, I now have the whole right side of my face mercury filing free and hole free.  They offer needle free dentistry as well should the situation require it.  Now I have been to a few dentists in my time, but if you want an injection in the mouth that DOESNT hurt, this is the place to go.

Next appointment in a few days.

If anyone is interested, I visit the Stardent dental cosmetic place.   I know its pricey, but I figured I need to get rid of the mercury fillings and its actually worth it.  My teeth are tender for a few days, I need to get it done.

It’s just time to man up and stop being a pussy about it.
